Over the New Year period (10th -11th Feb), Filming East Festival is showing a season of Chinese films, including 'The Opium War' by Xie Jin and 'Ping Pang', marking the 3rd year of our collaboration with the BFI.

The Opium War 鸦片战争

  • A spectacular account of the first Opium War produced by legendary director Xie Jin (谢晋). Screened in partnership with BFI Southbank and E'Mei Film Group Corporation (峨眉电影集团).
